Mash up: Buckle

This  is my third attempt at making a belt buckle with found objects impregnated in resin.

The first image illustrates arranging play full compositions inside of the mould. I used an old toy car which i beat with a hammer to give it a car accident look and feel and changed it slightly by painting it pink.

These pieces have to be arranged upside down, but are arranged front side up when experimenting with various compositions.

As in Hip hop i have extracted samples from surrounding culture to produce something i can call my own.
