Artists Statement

My work is based on and inspired by the use of found objects from popular culture.  A major aspect of my work consists of the appropriation of found objects. I work in an improvised way incorporating the concept of bricolage to create Street inspired jewellery. The work transcends into other media, consisting of jewellery, photography,stop motion animation, and experimental music. Furthermore the work engages with a public space attempting to establish a dialogue between object and environment.
