In an earlier post i spoke about finding some scale electric tracks at the landfill, which i felt spoke into my world.
Up until now, since working on my research report, I've looked at ways to explain, or at least attempt to break down the type of recycling i am engaging in.
Their seems to be an assimilation of ideas behind recycling. Moving closer in gaining understanding of the type of integrated working process, Iv'e stumbled across the idea of bricolage.
Bricolage describes a kind of constructional creation from diverse elements.
Parts that come from different places, that you just kind of put together in a kind of
combination.
So since the find of this particular object, I've seen it as being potentially valuable, not only in its physical value, but in a way that it contains its own narrative.
Lately i have been experimenting with photography using found objects of a child like nature, and juxtaposing them with the real world, to make up my own type of spontaneous compositions….
Their seems to be this inter connected relationship between the way i create a composition through imagery, as well as in my current jewelry ranges which kind of
create a new narrative, which after viewing constructs a type of oxymoron, two words or expressions with opposite meanings which give rise to new meaning.
